Home of the championship-winning Steelers and Penguins, Pittsburgh is a sports town first and foremost. But with the recent rise of Wiz Khalifa, the Steel City seemed close to nailing down a spot on the national rap map as well. That was back in 2007, when the former Cameron Thomaz signed to Warner Brothers and had a hit with the slowed-down techno groove "Say Yeah." However, an impatient Wiz left WB last year and released the full-length Deal Or No Deal himself — and supplemented it with a steady stream of mixtapes that showed his increasingly versatile flow.
