Upcycled Knitting: Pot Holders

When: Wed., May 11, 6-8 p.m. 2016

Have you ever wondered what it meant to “knit 1, purl 2”? In this workshop participants will learn how to knit while also engaging in creative reuse by using upcycled fabric strips to begin knitting a pot holder. With over a decade of knitting experience, Cristina Cousins will instruct participants how to start a project (cast-on), make a knit stitch, and how to end a project (bind-off). Class fee includes fabric and a unique pair of handmade wooden knitting needles. Last day to register: Friday May 6

Price: $44
