United States Women's National Team vs. New Zealand

St. Louis soccer legend Becky Sauerbrunn returns home this week for a tune-up game on the road to the FIFA Womens' World Cup. Sauerbrunn and the United States Women's National Team take on New Zealand at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Busch Stadium (700 Clark Avenue; www.mlb.com/cardinals/ballpark). You may recall that these same two teams met at the same location four years ago. (The home team won that outing 4-0 on the way to a third World Cup championship.) Four years is a long time in sport, but the American team has many returning veterans (Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Ali Krieger, Megan Rapinoe), all of whom know what it takes to deliver on the big stage. Remaining tickets are $35 to $150.
