Unlike in spelling or biochemical engineering, there aren't really any right or wrong answers in art and music classes just different forms of expression. At least, that's what you'd tell the teacher when you painted your desk purple or used Timmy as a glockenspiel. The Jennings School District students who participated in the special 2Read+2Write=4Music
after-school program have been able to show their creativity by writing, recording and producing an original CD that they'll perform at 6 p.m. at the New North Side Family Life Center (5939 Goodfellow Boulevard; 314-381-5730). The show costs $5, which includes the kids' CD. For more information about this special after-school program and the exhibit of photographs the students took of one another throughout the year visit pprc.umsl.edu
