In accordance with his perverse nature, Mr. Night eagerly anticipates On the Tip of Every Tongue, the traveling exhibit of more than 700 harmonicas and accordions, curated by the German Harmonica Museum. On the Tip of Every Tongue opens with a public reception and remarks from Martin Häffner (director of the German Harmonica Museum) at 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, at the University of Missouri-St. Louis' Gallery 210 (1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-6620). The exhibit also features classic advertising materials, interactive stations, documentary film and photos pertaining to the history of the humble harmonica, as well as a performance by the Gateway Harmonica Club following Herr Häffner's speech. As far as Mr. Night is concerned, this could be the saddest and happiest exhibition of the year. On the Tip of Every Tongue is open through Tuesday, August 8; the gallery is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: July 14. Continues through Aug. 8
