Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis will launch with an exciting kickoff event on Thursday, September 15th at The Harold & Dorothy Steward Center for Jazz! Join us for an evening in The Jazz Age focusing on topics such as Prohibition, speakeasies, and the progressive jazz music of the 1920s. Guests will enjoy cocktails curated by local mixologists, vintage-inspired hors d'oeuvres, tunes from the era by our extraordinary JazzU students, a discussion on the rise of jazz music, and a lively performance by the Phil Dunlap Quintet. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!!
