One of St. Louis' most eclectic music venues, Plush bid the city adieu on January 3 with an evening of live music and discounted booze. After a nearly three-year run, the bar/restaurant/creative space announced its relatively sudden closing in a December 23 Facebook update. The ambitious establishment also was known for its diverse decor, ping-pong tournaments and one of the city's best sound engineers, Mikey Teesdale, who passed away in July.

The lineup for Plush's final show included the Feed, Strange Owls, the Vondrukes, Chris Eide, Eric Hall, Irvyn Meaga, Ish and Omoo Omoo.
