The Eulogy Tour 2010

7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 24. Fubar, 3108 Locust Street.

As its name suggests, this tour features three bands all signed to the Florida record label Eulogy. If a band's on Eulogy, chances are it plays muscular, short-tempered hardcore with varying amounts of metal mixed in. In other words, this bill's an ideal night out for fans of bare-knuckled, thick-skulled music. Florida's Knock 'Em Dead is probably the most metal band on the bill; it's very much in the vein of Hatebreed. Upstate New York's Rhinoceros, on the other hand, is a lot punkier and more old-school in both attitude and approach — it's a straight-edge band whose sound recalls Agnostic Front and Warzone. Despite being from LA, Donnybrook! plays classic, NYC-style hardcore, which should appeal to fans of Madball.
