The Cycle of Life

Whether you love the artistry of bicycle racing or the art of bicycle racing, the Grove is the place to be this weekend. As the inaugural Tour de Grove rages through the neighborhood, the bike-culture party Artcrank rages inside the Atomic Cowboy (4140 Manchester Road; from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday (June 12 and 13). Thirty-five local artists have created bicycle-themed works of art for the show, and each of these poster-sized pieces will be available for $30 each. Admission to Artcrank is free, and Big Shark Bike, Iron Age Tattoo and Kerry Soraci's I Scream Cakes will all be present to keep the party cycling.
