The Bridge

The Bridge brings together voices and perspectives of leaders from past and current civil rights struggles in St. Louis as they engage a collective understanding of how local organizing and activism have evolved throughout history and into present moments of social unrest, political transition, and heightened consciousness. Bridging themes within the Missouri History Museum’s #1 in Civil Rights: The African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis exhibition, this interactive conversation will inspire audience participation as it evokes reflections of past movements in the city, insights from current moments, and lessons that inform future efforts in the struggle for civil rights. It takes place in the Grand Hall.
