The Award Goes To...

Certainly any actor, director or writer works for the love of the art, not for the praise – of course, when their name appears on a list of award nominees, they rarely refuse the golden tokens acknowledging their efforts. The Kevin Kline Awards, now in its seventh year, honors those who foster Saint Louis' theater community through their dedication to the craft. This year, the Professional Theatre Council of St. Louis presents awards in 23 categories, including its first ever Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring SLU High School teacher and Muny Stage Manager Joe Schulte. The ceremony takes place at the Loretto-Hilton Center on Webster University's campus (130 Edgar Road) at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Tickets are $25; for more information or to make a purchase, visit www.tfaforms.com/237260.
