In Florian Schulz's book To the Arctic, a companion to the IMAX 3-D film of the same name, readers are taken on a panoramic photo journey that digs beneath the snow and ice to reveal an ever-white winter wonderland teeming with life. Tonight at the St. Louis Zoo, the celebrated nature photographer presents a multimedia seminar detailing the fifteen months he spent documenting life in the Arctic Circle and the North Pole. To the Arctic: Bringing A Remote Yet Vibrant Land To Life begins at 7:30 p.m. in The Living World at the St. Louis Zoo in Forest Park (314-781-0900 or www.stlzoo.org). Admission to the seminar is free and books will be available for purchase at the event.
