St. Louis pays homage to its favorite playwright with this first annual festival. A variety of theatrical, artistic and educational events presented on conventional and unexpected stages celebrates the art and influence of Tennessee Williams. Highlights include The Hirschfeld Exhibition, Broadway Poet, (over 20 of Hirschfeld’s iconic works to give a glimpse of a fascinating archive of Williams’ Broadway career) and special guest Olympia Dukakis in a program May 12th that reveals the depth of her relationship with Williams' words.
