Will Jacobs' play Telegraph won last year's A.E. Hotchner New Play Festival. Now it gets a full production through Washington University's performing arts department. Telegraph is the story of Mr. Rivers, a lonely telegraph operator looking for his long-lost love amid the dots and dashes of Morse code. He may begin tapping to the beat of a different drum when a vibrant new woman arrives on the scene, introducing a new rhythm to his staid routine. But can he forget his lost love so easily?
