Nothing makes us appreciate hot tea quite like being sick. So what better time than now, the peak of flu season, to pay homage to the beautiful vessels that carry those precious, healing tonics? For Hot Tea: The 13th Biennial Teapot Exhibition, 50 artists (20 of them from St. Louis) craft non-traditional teapots out of clay, metal, glass and fiber. The exhibit opens Friday, March 9, at Craft Alliance (6640 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-725-1177 or www.craftalliance.org) with a free reception from 6-8 p.m.
