Leslie Hewitt, a New York-based artist, presents sculptural photographs that incorporate politically trenchant imagery in this new exhibition featuring two recent series: A Series of Projections (2010) and Blue Skies, Warm Sunlight (2011). Leslie Hewitt: Sudden Glare of the Sun opens with a free reception on Friday September 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard). The exhibition opens concurrently with Rosa Barba: Desert -- Performed and Jonathan Horowitz: My Land/Your Land: Election '12.
