Created in 2002 by former Dropkick Murphys lead singer Mike McColgan, Street Dogs has been riding the Boston flag high with its brand of working-class-fueled punk rock. Despite covering every topic from corporate greed to civic pride to wartime concern, the band brings a teeming positivity to the issues its members hold dear. Paying homage to bands such as the Clash and Stiff Little Fingers, Street Dog's politics stand at the forefront of both its records and live shows.

Fun Fact: Street Dogs' humanitarian efforts include work with both Oxfam America and Homes for Our Troops.
