Fans headed out to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater to see Stone Temple Pilots perform on their first tour since reuniting earlier this year.
Two fans near the entrance of the venue, taking refuge from the sun and from Saliva's performance.
Fans were eager to throw up the horns at this event, which featured Stone Temple Pilots, Chevelle, Saliva, Ashes Divide, Another Animal, Copperview, and Cavo.
Merch for all bands provided plenty of opportunity for fans to part with their money.
Gun 'n Roses t-shirts and beer were staple items for the show, with the latter providing much needed refreshment as temperatures soared to 95 degrees.

While some fans enjoyed the concert sitting down, others showed their enjoyment in classic style: one hand putting up the horns, the other holding a beer.
The Stone Temple Pilots took the stage to thunderous applause, with much of it lavished on frontman Scott Weiland.
Singer Scott Weiland seemed utterly relaxed as he came out on stage, cooly smoking and surveying the audience from behind his aviator sunglasses.

After a reserved start, frontman Scott Weiland launched into the performance and engaged the crowd with numerous trips to the front of the stage, giving fans exactly what they wanted.
Scott Weiland took every opportunity he could to stand on the platform of his speaker monitors.
When his monitors didn't provide the elevation he needed, Scott Weiland climbed on the speaker stacks stage right. Drummer Eric Kretz is seen on the screen behind Weiland.
