St. Patrick's Day Parade

by

St. Patrick receives his just due today as an expected quarter-million people pile into downtown St. Louis for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. More than 120 units of marching bands, floats and proudly marching Irish folk fill the streets with green, while the watching crowd cheers madly. The popular Irish Village is once again set up in Kiener Plaza, hosting food and beverage vendors, and the band Pedestrians (well-suited for a parade, eh?). The many eating and drinking establishments along the parade route will also serve the hungry and thirsty crowd, so bring your wallet and your appetite. It's a big, green day out for the whole family.

Noon Sat., Mar. 14. 18th and Market streets (www.irishparade.org). Free admission.
Sat., March 14, noon, 2015
