When: Fri., May 6, 2-3 p.m. 2016

β€œSt. Louis Freedom Struggle 1821-1968” by Gwen Moore, curator at the Missouri History Museum. St. Louis played a leading role in the battle for fair and equitable treatment, a role that is generally under-appreciated. This presentation will focus on two periods: before Brown v. Board of Education (1821–1954) and the modern Civil Rights Movement (1954–1968).
