Sounds Like Love/

In a particularly sweet spot in Grand Center, the one that's held down by the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, there's a bit of a yin-yang thing going on during this, the most love- and chocolate-filled day of the year. At CAM, you've got your Unhappy Hour for the completely disenchanted, but at the Pulitzer (3716 Washington Boulevard; 314-754-1850 or www.pulitzerarts.org), the celebrations are a bit different. During Sound Waves + Poetry, Mary Jo Bang, Nathaniel Farrell, Qiu Xiaolong and others will read poetry over live blues music played by the Fabulous Foehners, and sweets, including dark-chocolate truffles, will be served, all of which will provide a sensory-enhanced viewing experience for The Progress of Love, the Pulitzer's current exhibition about love and love lost (all the more reason to dive into those truffles, right?). To get your discerning V Day on, head to the exhibition space between 6 and 9 p.m. Admission is free, but bring along some extra cash if you want to nibble.
