If only life were like a Disney film – we'd use catchy songs to express emotions, and we'd be guaranteed a happy ending (the family-friendly version, of course). For two dates at Powell Symphony Hall (718 North Grand Boulevard), it can be with Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies. Conductor Ward Stare will lead the orchestra through an arrangement of fun, classic Disney favorites from The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mary Poppins and more on Saturday, February 11, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 12, at 2 p.m. Film clips and artist renderings will accompany the performance.
