Life as a nun is not as glamorous as it looks from the outside. Ask any of the missionaries of the Little Sisters order -- well, ask any of the survivors. An unfortunate cooking disaster has killed off many of the sisterhood, and the living sisters don't have the money to hold proper burials for the deceased. So they take the rational course of action and put on a show to raise the needed funds. Dan Goggin's daffy musical Nunsense gets a special 30th anniversary staging as Nunsense Muny Style!, with hometown gal Phyllis Smith ("Phyllis" from The Office) playing the accidentally murderous Sister Julia. You'll come for the songs, but you'll stay for the relentless quizzing -- they're nuns, they expect you to pay attention and learn something. Nunsense Muny Style! is performed at 8:15 p.m. Monday through Sunday (July 1 through 7) at the Muny in Forest Park (314-361-1900 or www.muny.org). Tickets are $12 to $80.
