Photographer Sarah Carmody plays in the grey area between being a documentarian and being an artist. Beginning with photographs of natural phenomena -- scenes she only documented, not created herself -- Carmody then manipulates the images to create something new. If the artist can alter reality in this way, is the perception of reality any different than reality itself?
