The Saint Louis Symphony often travels from its Powell Hall sanctum to spread the joy of music to all corners of the metro area. This afternoon the peripatetic master musicians of the SLSO haul out to Lindenwood University for Live at Lindenwood, a program of stalwarts from the classical canon -- Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain, selections from Peer Gynt by Grieg, Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5 and Ginastera's Four Dances from Estancia.
2 p.m. Sun., Apr. 12. J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts on Lindenwood University's campus (2300 West Clay Street; 636-949-4433 or www.slso.org). $35 to $75..
