Rounding Up Clint's Spaghetti Westerns

Wipe those memories of Clint talking to a chair from your memory and return to a time when he was a man of few words and let the firearms do the talking. All weekend long (Friday through Sunday, December 21 through 23) the Webster University film series screens Sergio Leone's "The Man With No Name" trilogy, the three films that defined the Spaghetti Western and made Clint Eastwood a superstar. Friday kicks off with A Fistful of Dollars, Saturday's For a Few Dollars More adds Lee Van Cleef to the mix, and tonight the series closes with the best of that wild bunch, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly starring good Clint, bad Lee and ugly Eli Wallach. Each of the three films screens at 7:30 p.m in the Moore Auditorium on Webster University's campus (470 East Lockwood; 314-968-7487 or Tickets are $4 to $6.
