As this year's holiday season approached, Rough Shop faced quite a challenge: How could it top 2009, when it released the instant classic Just Because It Was Christmas? The solution appears to be an expansion of its popular Holiday Extravaganza, which will now take place over two nights at the Focal Point. As always, the gentle twang-rock band will be joined by many familiar names; this year's guestlist includes the Remodels' Toby Weiss, ex-Julia Sets member Kate Eddens, Steve Carosello of the Love Experts and Magnolia Summer's John Horton and Chris Grabau. Expect to hear Rough Shop's sterling holiday originals mixed in with choice, entertaining covers.
