The St. Louis Cardinals finish the current homestand with a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. The last time the teams met the Reds pounded the Cards 13 to 4, the Cards won the next game 5 to 1, and then the Cards pounded the Reds 10 to 0. It's a small sample size, but an interesting one, no? These teams are very closely matched, with the capability to exploit each other's mistakes and pile on the runs. Those are the ingredients for a solid rivalry even before you throw in the personal dislike certain players have for one another (cough, Johnny Cueto). Tonight's game starts at 7:15 p.m. at Busch Stadium (Broadway and Poplar Street; 314-345-9000 or Tickets are $13.80 to $250.80.
