Real Italian

Italians are known for plenty of things -- art, fashion, soccer (ahem, futbol). But among their many cultural contributions, none are as appreciated as their food, because the Italians know how to whip up an amazing meal. The Springtime in Rome Cooking Class will help bring a little taste of the old country into your home, with Executive Chef Bob Colosimo leading folks through a fabulous five course meal, including bruschetta, asparagus soup, pan-seared lamb chops, fresh pea risotto and limoncello and strawberry mousse. Molto delizioso indeed. The class will be held at Vin de Set (2017 Chouteau Avenue; 314-241-8989) on Wednesday, April 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $45 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 314-621-1996.
