ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
The lady perishes: Something stinks here ["The Women of August Busch IV," Chad Garrison]. This guy got off easy once before, and to have two women die in his presence is very bizarre. Have you ever had anyone die at your home, crash your car and kill your passenger, get chased down by police or shoot a gun off at your house injuring another kid? This man has never taken responsibility for his out-of-control and reckless behavior, but it looks like it finally might catch up with him.
I don't care if you are a "nice guy." You don't walk away from a deadly car crash and just leave the scene of the crime. And if something sinister happened to this current dead girl, I hope they throw the book at his privileged a$$.

They have no bread? Let them drink beer: Wild style! The Busches are determined to keep St. Louis from turning into Cleveland or Detroit. All the industry and jobs may be gone, the city may be shrinking and on its last legs, and the rich may be getting richer as the poor just hope not to be put out on the street, but there's always a bit more beer and circus when St. Louis' First Family provides some high jinks.
God bless this poor young woman and her son, who's now motherless, and let's hope August Busch IV can follow the lead of his uncles and get his life together. He's 45, not 15, and, given his billions, perhaps devoting his life to a worthy cause might spell the end of the sorts of mishaps he's been involved in.

Ignore the old bat: Phyllis Schlafly is the last of a dying breed of anti-gay wingnuts ["Phyllis Schlafly: The Problem With Gays? They Are Trying to Make Us Respect Them," Chad Garrison]. Pay no attention to her. She is not the generation that is leading the success for gay rights everywhere.
If she were younger and had a tad more influence, we would have seen her name all over the media, but we don't. She panders to some narrow-minded senior citizens.
Gays are getting respect and recognition worldwide, and it will continue.

Our opponents have a critical insurmountable affliction that will crush their senseless struggle against equality: age. They are getting older, and there are no more prejudiced, close-minded, tired, sad, bigoted, homophobic, reactionary old people to augment their ranks — they are dying.
We, on the other hand, crusaders for equality of all ages, benefit from a constantly renewed stream of blessed youth, enabled by open minds, encouraged by open mentors, enthused by open politicians, loved by open parents. Youth that simply does not care if I marry a guy or if my equality is an "issue" to someone who would deny it. Youth that sees the artificial barriers to equality erected by statute or held in closed hearts as a relic of a darker time, just as "separate but equal" facilities, voting restrictions and slavery are to our African American citizens. We have an unlimited army of crusaders for equality, born into a world of increasing acceptance of the vast rainbow of humanity.
They must rely on conscripting and recruiting and brainwashing a shrinking universe of draftees with lies and poisoned misinterpretations of sacred writings and religious dogma, with fear, with false hatred and false foment over-imagined threats posed by the simple concept that is equality.
