Pure, Wild Animal Craziness

Frontyard Features began entertaining people and making them better neighbors in 2006 when Martin Casas and his wife set up an outdoor movie screen and invited people over to watch a film. Since then, FYF has screened free movies in parks, schools and other public spots to round up folks and help get them acquainted. Tonight FYF screens the fabulous and mischievous Fantastic Mr. Fox at the Marine Villa neighborhood firehouse (3555 Saleena Street) at dusk. The Wes Anderson-directed flick sports an excellent voice cast including George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Anderson favorite Jason Schwartzman, and it has probably spawned a generation of stickball athletes and squab thieves and enabled children everywhere to pretend to cuss the pants off anyone they please.
