Pat Benatar/ Night Ranger/ REO Speedwagon

6 p.m. Saturday, July 10. Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, 14141 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights.

Pat Benatar's new memoir, Between a Heart and a Rock Place, is a quick but substantial read. In the book, the 57-year-old rocker discusses her rapid rise to fame in the early '80s and how label pressures and family concerns clashed once she started having kids with her husband and long-time collaborator, Neil Giraldo. Benatar will most certainly let her music — and hit after ferocious hit — speak for itself at this show, which is with quasi-local heroes REO Speedwagon and special guest stars Night Ranger.
