Outside In: Paint for Peace Exhibition

Showcasing the power of the arts, COCA presents a selection of the murals painted on the boarded-up storefronts by amateur and professional artists in the days and weeks following the 2014 protests in Ferguson, MO. Guest curated by Jacquelyn Lewis-Harris, Outside In: Paint for Peace is presented in collaboration with the Sheldon Art Galleries, the University of Missouri-St. Louis, the Ferguson Youth Initiative, Missouri History Museum, the Vaughn Cultural Center, and Carol Swartout Klein, author of the award-winning children’s book Painting for Peace in Ferguson.
