Meghan Grubb: To Hold and Let Go

When: Fri., Nov. 6, 6-8 p.m. 2015

Meghan Grubb: To Hold and Let Go St. Louis, MO - Featuring recent work by Meghan Grubb, To Hold and Let Go addresses themes of persistence, meditation, and abandonment. The artist brings together a diverse body of sculpture and installation-based works in this exhibition, and draws on research into the Sisters of Loretto, the order of nuns that founded Webster University in 1915. The works on view reflect and re-interpret written and oral histories from the Loretto nuns, and expand on the artist’s investigation into immersive environments and imagined psychological spaces.
