Mark Sableman: Copyright and Photography – What You Should Know

This presentation will describe recent trends in photography copyright law, including the effects of widespread use and copying of photographs on the Internet. It will include illustrations from recent art and photography copyright lawsuits. Mark Sableman is a partner with Thompson Coburn LLP in St. Louis. His litigation practice focuses on media, Internet, technology and intellectual property law, and he co-authors blogs on Internet law and on copyrights and photography. He is author of the book "More Speech, Not Less: Communications Law in the Information Age," and more than 20 law review articles and book chapters.
