Whether he stays or goes — and the rumors surrounding his alleged rap retirement have flown, along with apparently abandoned plans for a triple-album finale — there's no debating the mark Lupe Fiasco has made during his short time in the game. Since his 2006 debut, Food & Liquor, he's forged a fusion between thoughtful, underground-inspired rhymes and mainstream hip-hop appeal that recalls the success story of his fellow Chicagoan, Kanye West.
