Greg's a working-class guy who just made the deadliest mistake of his life: He casually mentioned to a friend that a new female employee at the warehouse has a pretty face, while his girlfriend's face is just "regular." This remark gets back to Steph, his girlfriend, thanks to the loose lips of someone in his small social circle. Welcome to Hell, Greg. Steph verbally blasts him and dumps him, sending Greg on an aesthetic quest. What is pretty, really, and why is having beauty in your life important? Greg's never thought about it before, but now he's being confronted by the issue of beauty vs. ugliness all over the place. NonProphet Theater Company closes out its season with Neil LaBute's reasons to be pretty.
