Life Imitates Art

Lilly is a 14-year-old aspiring novelist, and her latest work "is going to have music and dancing and people dying -- and it's going to be amazing." Her mother recently passed away, and Lilly blames the mayor -- after all, he cut off funding for the orchestra, and Lilly's mother's health seemed to dissolve as the ensemble did. She and her brother Camden wrestle with her mother's ghost in Camden & Lilly, presented by Washington University's Theater Department at the A.E. Hotchner Studio Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard, University City). Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, through Saturday, March 31, and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (March 31 and April 1). Tickets are $10 to $15.
