The Republican All-Stars took the to field at TR Hughes Ballpark on Sunday, August 31, 2008 in O'Fallon, Missouri. There she was, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, potential first lady Cindy McCain, and of course Republican presidential hopeful John McCain. And there were country music stars (John Rich of Big & Rich), as well as state GOP'ers like gubernatorial hopeful Kenny Hulsof and others.

An estimated 23,000 people entered the gates of T.R. Hughes Ballpark Sunday, who were encouraged to wear red.
Kenny Hulshof, republican candidate for Missouri Governor, addressed the large crowd.
Many souvenirs were available for McCain supporters, including buttons incorporating McCain as Popeye and Mr. Clean.
John Rich, singer of country duo Big & Rich, showed his support and performed several songs.
Brenda Talent, wife of former Missouri Senator Jim Talent, addresses the crowd and gave reasons why she supports McCain. She said, “This election becomes personal for me.”
