Joe Budden

6:30 p.m. Friday, August 26. Fubar, 3108 Locust Street.

"Jumpoff" Joe Budden has undoubtedly had his ups and downs in the music biz. A Grammy nod early in his career, several high-profile industry beefs and Slaughterhouse's recent signing to Eminem's Shady Records imprint are among the bullet points of his career. Although the Jersey City emcee has found his niche by allowing fans access to nearly every detail of his personal life, the controversy is counterbalanced by his sharp wit and grimy lyricism.
