Do it for your relatives

After an evening visiting with your terrible-joke-telling Uncle Andre — wow, the recent holiday festivities were tough — you've come to understand the importance of actually being funny. But you know hilarity definitely doesn't run in your family. To combat those anti-comedic genes, you need a serious intervention. You need to attend a free improv class with St. Louis' famous funnyman Bill Chott. All ages and experience levels are welcome to participate, and everyone is practically guaranteed to be funnier post-lesson. The class is held tonight from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Improv Trick (2715 Cherokee Street); to learn more, call 314-922-1998, and to find out about additional courses, visit www.theimprovtrick.com.
