Whether you spend all day sitting behind a computer, standing behind a counter or scurrying all over town, the best way to shake off work is to actually shake it. That's right: Nothing rids your mind of obnoxious coworkers, a stolen lunch or a busybody boss quite like moving your butt. So this evening, don't drive straight home; instead, head to the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard) for Select Night: Brazil. From 6 to 9 p.m., unwind to Brazilian rhythms spun by Andrea from the KDHX (88.1 FM) show Radio Rio and performances courtesy of Samba Bom and Capoeira Brasil of St. Louis all while checking out the dance moves of St. Louis Magazine's top twenty singles. Plus, enjoy free admission, free appetizers from Wolfgang Puck and drinks for a $2 donation to the museum (or bring a can of tuna to support Food Outreach and get a free drink ticket). This party is for the 21-and-up crowd only; for more information call the museum at 314-535-4660 or visit www.contemporarystl.org.
