@ Laumeier Sculpture Park, 12580 Rott Road, Saint Louis, MO, 63127
Laumeier Sculpture Park presents new work by New Delhi-based artist Gigi Scaria, whose exhibition Time focuses on “social mapping." Scaria’s project is part of New Territories: BRICS, Laumeier’s five-year focus on artists from around the globe, and consists of site-specific works inspired by the constant building flux in New Delhi and the ancient ruins of Cahokia Mounds. Time includes recent photographs, films and sculptures inside the Adam Aronson Fine Arts Center, as well as a monumental “totem” of cast scale models of old Delhi domestic architecture in Laumeier’s Outdoor Galleries. The exhibition runs Saturday, April 16–Sunday, August 14.
