Come explore the role Saint Louis played during the Mexican entry into the Midwest, the struggles they faced and the community they built. Daniel Gonzales earned his M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in the spring of 2010 as an E. Desmond Lee Fellow. He previously worked as a researcher at the Missouri History Museum and Museum Curator with the St. Louis County Parks system. Gonzales currently works as Historian for St. Louis County where he helps to develop programs and exhibits that grow public knowledge and understanding of St. Louis history.
