Dia de los Muertos Fiesta

When: Sat., Oct. 29, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 2016

Created in 2008 by Maria Guadalupe Massey (award-winning Mexican-American poet and activist), this free-area celebration of “Dia de los Muertos” (“Day of the Dead”) is a joyous spiritual and physical celebration in honor of beloved ancestors who have passed on. Taking place both indoors and on the street, there will be live music, comedy, poetry, dance, an art auction and mini market, face-painting, and a Skeleton Sidewalk Parade on South Grand. Hosted by comic Suzanne Roussin.
