DEFORCE is a documentary about Detroit City's modern history. Once viewed as a model for America, in just over 40-years Detroit has experienced the largest fall in living standards and population of any large American city. How did this happen?

Popular explanations center on the collapse of the auto-industry. But when you actually see just how different the City is from the communities that border it, it's clear just how incomplete that explanation is. In reality, Detroit's problems are 100% political in nature. For decades, Federal, State and Local officials have mismanaged the City to the point that a man born in Detroit today is more likely to face jail time then he is to graduate from college.

DEFORCE reveals what really happened
