You know what the Beggar's Carnivale is, but you never know what that modern burlesque spectacle will do next. With Le Maison de Decadence
, the Beggars go beyond big into grand: Think Technicolor, big-budget musical set in a Victorian brothel. The show melds burlesque, vaudeville, music hall and cirque performance to create a constantly exploding kaleidoscope of sight and sound. Featured performers include Midnite Martini, Ray Gunn, Jeez Loueez, the Knock-a-bouts, and of course, Lola Van Ella. The entire thing is scored live by the Three Penny Orchestra. Le Maison de Decadence takes place at 9 p.m. at the Casa Loma Ballroom (3354 Iowa Avenue; www.casalomaballroom.com
), and tickets are $20 to $50.
