Only one man can hold the title of Mr. Midwest Leather 2011, and this weekend representatives of thirteen Midwestern states come together at Bad Dog Bar & Grill (3960 Chouteau Avenue; www.mrmidwestleather.com) to determine who will receive the coveted title vest, medallion and flowing leather sash. Contestants will be judged in the categories of Full Leather Attire, Public Speech, Bar Wear, Physique, and everybody's favorite, Minimal Wear. While contestants may get a bit cheeky in their chaps, rules stress that minimal wear must be street-legal with all the naughty bits under the cover of leather, so no one's delicate sensibilities will be affronted. The competition begins at 11 p.m.; admission is $10 and drink specials will be on through 3 a.m.
