The Gateway Men’s Chorus closes its twentieth season with Divas at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (June 29 and 30) at Washington University’s Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard). Conceptualized by David Maddux, this choral treasure intertwines a medley of melodies, incorporating songs from Broadway as well as pop, country and jazz tunes to give recognition to nearly 30 female music legends. Scheduled to perform with the chorus are local vocalists Nancy Kranzberg, Beverly Robnette, Jeanne Trevor and Mae Wheeler, and the concert “has something for everyone,” according to artistic director Merry Keller. Tickets are $20 to $50 and are available through MetroTix (314-534-1111) and the GMC office (314-621-7286); visit www.gatewaymenschorus.org for additional locations and more information.
