Leave the bird, the sides, the dessert, the family dysfunction -- and most importantly, the dishes -- to someone else this year and enjoy an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet
at the Holiday Inn South County Center (6921 South Lindbergh Boulevard) on Thanksgiving Day. Wear your best stretchy pants and get in line starting at 11 a.m. to feast on everything, including turkey, beef, ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean and sweet potato casserole, fresh rolls, pies, and more cake than you can shake a fork at. The variety is so overwhelming that you just might have to reserve a room upstairs after you maneuver through the first ten rounds. And it ends at 3 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to rest up and roll out to another Turkey Day dinner if need be. The buffet costs $14.95 to $24.95, and you can make a reservation at 314-892-3600.
